Narrator

1

After creating the world, God made something even more special – human beings!

God

2

Let us create humans in our own image.

Narrator

3

God created a man named Adam. God also created a garden in the east of Eden. That place was called the Garden of Eden, where there are many kinds of delicious fruits.

Adam

4

Wow, this world is amazing!

God

5

Adam, Adam.

Adam

6

Who is it?

God

7

It is me, God, I created you. I want you to rule all the creatures and then you can stay here forever.

Adam

8

I will do that.

God

9

You can eat from any tree in the garden. You can spend your time freely.

Adam

10

Yes, God.

God

11

One thing I need you to promise.

Adam

12

Yes?

God

13

You may eat the fruit of any tree, but you must not eat fruit from that tree. If you do, you will die.

Adam

14

Okay, I won't. I promise. I will never eat the fruit from that tree.

Narrator

15

Adam took very good care of all the animals but he seemed lonely. God noticed that he was lonely, so He created a partner called Eve.

Narrator

16

Adam and Eve had everything they needed. They took care of the garden and enjoyed all the wonderful things God had made.

Narrator

17

One day, while Eve was taking a walk alone in the Garden of Eden, she met a serpent, a big snake.

Narrator

18

The serpent was the most clever animal that God had created—not just clever but also cunning.

Serpent

19

Hello, Eve.

Eve

20

Hello. How do you know my name?

Serpent

21

I know everything about this garden. Did God really tell you not to eat fruit from any tree in the garden?

Eve

22

We can eat fruit from any tree except for the one in the middle. If we eat the fruit from that tree, we will die.

Serpent

23

That's a lie. God doesn't want you to be as smart as Him.

Eve

24

If I eat the fruit, will I be as smart as God?

Narrator

25

Eve was deceived by the serpent, and she ate the fruit.

Eve

26

Adam, Adam! This fruit tastes so good! Why don't you try it?

Adam

27

What!? Did you eat it? You will die!

Eve

28

Look at me! I'm alive! This is so good and I want to share it with you.

Narrator

29

Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and disobeyed God.

God

30

Adam, Adam, where are you?

Narrator

31

Adam was afraid of God because he ate the fruit so he tried to hide.

Adam

32

Eve, I'm so ashamed we are naked.

Narrator

33

And then, there was lightning and thunder.

Adam

34

Oh, no! What's happening?!

God

35

Adam, Eve, you disobeyed me.

Narrator

36

Eve said to eat it.

Eve

37

The serpent tricked me.

Narrator

38

God told to the serpent.

God

39

Serpent, I will make you and the woman hate each other; her offspring and yours will always be enemies. Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel.

Narrator

40

God told to Adam and Eve.

God

41

You must leave the garden!

Narrator

42

God was very angry and told Adam and Eve to leave the garden. They had to work hard by themselves to live after that.

Genesis 3:15

1

Her offspring will crush your head, and you will bite her offspring's heel.

Words from the Bible - Romans 3:23
